Casa Sendim’s Wines

“Casa Sendim’s” wine get’s it’s name from the local language mirandês – “Angorbatado”, something like a man with a tie. Is what locals called to a owl that made from “Casa Sendim’s” vineyard it’s home. This galician owl was easily recognized by it’s white spot in the chest in a tie shape. Legend has it that any animal proving those grapes would get a tie drawn in it’s chest, revealing the theft. The owl was joined by other “Angorbatados”, the fox and the hare.
